How to Set Up Thunderbit

Haven't got Thunderbit up and running yet? No worries—it's a breeze and only takes a minute! Follow this quick guide to get Thunderbit set up from scratch.

Step 1: Install the Browser Extension

First up, you need to get the Thunderbit extension installed. Just click the link below to download and kick things off.

ⓘ Supported and Unsupported Browsers

Our Browser Extension is displayed via a side panel and is compatible with the following browsers:

• Google Chrome

• Microsoft Edge

• Brave

• Chromium

• Google Chrome Canary

However, the following browsers are not currently supported by our Browser Extension, as they do not support side panels:

• Arc Browser by The Browser Company

• Opera

• Vivaldi

• Safari

Step 2: Create Your Thunderbit Account

Once you've got the extension installed, hit the "Sign up/Log in" button to create your Thunderbit account. It's free! You can either use your email or log in with your Google account. To make scraping even easier, be sure to pin the extension to your Chrome toolbar.

Step 3: Explore Playground

After logging in, you'll land on the Thunderbit Playground page. Here, you can scrape data for free and check out all the features. Check out the next section for more tips on navigating the Playground.
